To achieve the best results, we recommend using the device for 3-5 minutes on a specific area each time. Additionally, we suggest using the device every 28 days as a cycle for hair removal. Depending on the hair condition, it may take around 3-6 cycles to achieve the desired long-term inhibition of hair growth.
What is Composite Light?
Lumirea uses a composite light output system (DPL + NIR simultaneous emission). This means the device emits two precisely selected spectra at the same time — DPL (530–650 nm) for targeted surface treatment and NIR (900–1800 nm) for deep tissue penetration. Can the device turn off NIR and use only DPL light?
No. The two light types of Lumirea are not independent channels. They form a coordinated system optimized for energy ratio and wavelength coupling. Can it cause melasma or burns?
No. The energy of the combined light is precisely controlled, preventing excess heat generation. The sapphire cooling system can reduce the epidermal temperature by approximately 5–10°C in real time, ensuring stable and evenly distributed energy, which avoids heat accumulation and burns. However, it is not recommended for use directly on melasma areas, as thermal reactions may deepen pigmentation or cause post-inflammatory darkening.
