IPL, in contrast, is like a shotgun: it cannot accurately target the follicles, often leaving them incompletely damaged, which makes hair removal less effective and short-lived. How many treatment sessions are needed?

ViQure diode laser delivers high-powered and precise light pulse, it is safe and efficient. Usually,  with one treatment session per month, long-term inhibition of hair growth can be achieved within 3 months.

How to choose an intensity level?

Just click on the main menu and choose any of the two functions: hair removal and skin rejuvenation. Then you will see the interface for intensity and frequency levels adjustment icons.

How often should I use ViQure diode hair removal at home?

To achieve the best results, we recommend using the device for 3-5 minutes on a specific area each time. Additionally, we suggest using the device every 28 days as a cycle for hair removal. Depending on the hair condition, it may take around 3-6 cycles to achieve the desired long-term inhibition of hair growth.

Does the EpiPro 808nm Diode Laser also have skin rejuvenation benefits?

Yes. In addition to professional-grade hair removal, the 808nm wavelength penetrates into the dermis where it stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin. This process helps improve skin firmness, minimize pores, soften fine lines, and brighten overall skin tone.
Note: The skin rejuvenation function is not recommended for Fitzpatrick skin type VI.

Can I combine hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments with the EpiPro?

Yes, you can benefit from both functions. However, we recommend spacing your hair removal and skin rejuvenation sessions at least 28 days apart. This allows your skin to fully recover and ensures optimal results for each treatment.

How should you prepare for laser hair removal?

1, Do not tweeze, epilate, pluck and wax the targeted area at least two weeks before yoru treatment.
2, Shaving the treatment area 24~48 hours prior to your treatment.
3, Do not tan or expose to the sun directly before or after laser hair removal Avoid tan or sun exposure two weeks before treatment.
4, Shower without makeups or fragrances

Is ViQure diode laser hair removal device the same as salon laser treatment?

Yes! ViQure EpiPro ues the 808nm diode laser technology which is used in Salon.

Do I need to wear eye protection?

The ligth will flash only when contacting firmly against your skin, never into the air. But, you should never try to shoot on to or close to your eyes. 
And you still need to wear glasses and goggles.

What's the difference between IPL and laser hair removal?

IPL and laser are both effective to prevent hair growing by using light pulse to destroy the follicle. However, they are quite different in the following aspects.

1) IPL delivers a wide spectrum of lights, while laser delivers a single concentrated beam of light.

2) Treatment time: both are effective, the laser is more efficient and needs less time.

3) Cost: IPL is cheaper than laser.

4) Results: Laser hair removal provides long-term inhibition of hair growth, and IPL is more for hair reduction.

5) Safety: both are safe.

6) Application: IPL is mainly for home use and the laser is used in Salon mostly.

7) Pain: laser is pain-free, IPL may have a little bit of pain.

8) Work on: Laser works on all skin types, IPL usually works on some skin types. In summary, IPL and laser are both safe and effective for hair removal. Which one to choose depends on your budget, pain tolerance, time, skin type, etc.

Why do I need to do follow-up treatments?

The laser hair removal devices are designed to emit light energy to the pigment in hair follicles. The melanin in the hair follicle is like a target, and the amount of melanin determines the effectiveness of hair removal.There are mainly three stages for hair growth: anagen(growing phase), catagen(transition phase), and telogen(resting phase). In anagen (active growth phase), the hair follicles have the largest amount of melanin, while in the catagen and telogen phases, there are fewer pigments in follicles. Our hair is in different growing stages, so we need to do top-up treatments for optimal hair removal results.
